I created this company because the current way that artists are devalued in our society has to end. While we enjoying consuming art and without the world would be a pretty boring place to live, artists are still underpaid and often fall into the trap of being a “starving artist” until they “make it.”  However, the current industry models leave artists in debt or they have to compromise who they truly are to be commercially successful. This model is dis-empowering, exploitative and crippling to the creativity and innovation of artists.  

Now, You don’t have to go down that road, you have choice. There is another path to freedom: entrepreneurship.
I started this work because I care about artists deeply. I was one. At 17 years old, I started pursuing a career as a vocalist professionally after singing in ensembles for 12 years. I met an engineer and started singing for the bands and artists that used his studio.It was huge for me. I felt like I was on my way to being a star. I happily stayed late nights in the studio, wrote lyrics and recorded vocals waiting for my moment to be discovered.  It never happened.  I was never credited or compensated and that was when I realized, I’d been exploited.

At the time, I did not have business savvy and legal knowledge, I was still a kid. However, this fueled my desire to empower other artists so that never happens to anyone elseI’ve spent over 17 years total in the music and entertainment industry as a lawyer, manager, event producer with my own company (for 11 years), a program director and now a business advisor.  All of this experience allowed me to see what type of business and marketing models worked for artists and what didn’t. As a result, I created my own method of branding and business based on this experience, research development and testing. I saw the holes in how artists are managed, marketed and “guided” today and I was determined to fill them.

Once I started working with artists in this area I saw how fast they were moving. Their revenue and exposure was increasing. Their creativity was expanding. The were feeling confident about their brands and the powerful experience they put in the world. They were securing partnerships and no longer scared of being entrepreneurs. They were fully empowered. It was incredible and that’s when I knew I was on to something that worked. This work quickly developed into my life’s purpose. Now, if you are going to create the career you want, you’re going to have to learn things that you don’t know. You’re going to have to step outside of your comfort zone. You’re going to have to be willing you be fully committed and invested in your own success. It’s not your fault, but it IS your responsibility. 

We may have the tools, but you have to take the first this. This is your life. Your career and we are honored to help you create it on your terms.
